Who can forget last year’s North Texas visit by Oklahoma’s Flaming Lips as part of the then-called NX35? The Lips and their legendary live show transformed the Denton fair grounds, and is perhaps one of the biggest things to ever happen in the city. Just imagine how much cooler the group’s show will be indoors without the sound issues associated with outdoor performances –much less the power issues that hampered last year’s show and severely cut short Wayne’s whole walking-on-the-crowd-in-the-space-ball bit.
